Anastassia Elias’s Tiny World Inside Toilet Paper Tubes
French painter and collage artist Anastassia Elias
creates tiny scenes with paper inside cardboard toilet paper tubes.
Anastassia uses paper the same color as the cardboard tubes to build up
the intricate pictures of people, which gives the illusion that the
scene taking place inside the walls are actually part of the roll
itself. The models, which sell for £90 each, come alive when light is
shined through the roll from one end. The details and depth of each
piece is impressive.

The Most Dangerous Roads of the World
1. Bolivia's "Road of Death"
North
Yungas Road is hands-down the most dangerous in the world for
motorists. If other roads could be considered impassable, this one
clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from
La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters in an orgy of
extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses.A fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks, 100-200 people perish there every year. In 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank named the La Paz-to-Coroico route "the world's most dangerous road."
Among the route there are many visible reminders of accidents, wrecked carcasses of lorries and trucks lie scattered around at the bottom.
The 9 Most Complex Roads In The World
Sure, it feels fantastic to traverse the vast stretches of the best
roads in the world via adrenaline pumping speeds. How about a
complicated road, one that twists and turns, or has downright congested
traffic, or unforgiving terrain? They might give you a headache, but it
sure feels good when you’ve conquered them. Here is the list of the
world’s most complicated and dangerous roads. Some of these complicated
mountain passes can be dangerous if not negotiated with utmost caution,
while others are complicated sets of roads and bridges, erected to
ensure a streamlined flow of traffic at busy junctions. Without further
ado, we present our top 9 list…

The World’s Oldest Solar Panel
Hibernating for some 60 good years, the world’s oldest solar panel
built by a British science teacher has come out of the standby mode.
Antique dealer Fred Nickson unveiled it at yesterday’s Antiques for
Everyone show at Birmingham’s NEC. Still in working condition, the
crystal-ball-shaped panel produces 1.5 volts of electricity that is just
enough to power a digital watch.
Nickson said…
"It is similar to a solar panel you would get today, it uses a mineral called selenium to convert sunlight into electricity. But it has negative and positive versions of the mineral like Ohl’s patented model."
As is revealed by available records, the solar technology was first introduced in 1883 when Charles Fritts built the first solar cell. Anyhow, created back in 1950, the solar panel discussed above is the world’s first modern day solar panel that requires direct sunlight to produce electricity.

large. Her right foot is 32 centimetres long and 12 centimetres wide;
her left foot is 30 centimetres long and 11 centimetres wide. The big

centimetres long and 4.5 centimetres; her second toe is 9 centimetres

What is intriguing is that the big toe of her left foot is completely normal, while the other toes are unusually large. For 21 years, all her shoes were made by her mother. Shen Xiaojing is now 170 centimetres tall and has reached the age to marry. However, most young men have been frightened away by her giant feet. Shen has two wishes: to see the world and to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

The World's Biggest Bugs
Here are some pictures of the biggest bugs on Earth. Enjoy!
Belostomatidae
Belostomatidae is a family of insects better known as "giant water bugs" or "toe-biters." Most species in the Belostomatidae family are relatively large (2 cm or more) with some of the largest, such as Lethocerus, exceeding 12 cm, and nearly reaching the dimensions (length and mass) of some of the larger beetles in the world.
All bugs in the Belostomatidae family are fierce predators which stalk, capture and feed on aquatic crustaceans, fish and amphibians. They often lie motionless at the bottom of a body of water, attached to various objects, where they wait for prey to come near. They then strike, injecting a powerful digestive saliva and suck out the liquefied remains. Yum!
Their bite is considered one of the most painful that can be inflicted by any insect. The saliva liquefies muscle tissue. In rare instances, their bite can do permanent damage to humans. So don't get drunk and pass out with your face near one of these guys.
Top 10 Bizarre Fears and Phobias
Ablutophobia
is a phobia that results in a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted
fear of washing yourself. It is most commonly found in women and
children. Most patients don't fear water, just when there is intent to
clean. It is important to note that many children dislike baths, so
ablutophobia is generally not diagnosed in children unless it persists
for more than six months. Like all phobias, ablutophobia is often linked
to a traumatic past event. It can be serious, as a lack of hygiene can
lead to social displacement and disease. It is a situational specific
phobia and common treatment methods are exposure and various cognitive
behavioral therapy techniques.
Amazing Giant Jeep
Many sport utility vehicle owners just love being at the wheel of a larger vehicle. It provides a sense of stability on the road, great visibility, and of course having a healthy ground clearance is great for all-weather driving conditions and off-roading. However, the “bigger is better mentality” could also reach incredible levels of stupidity.

as the biggest nose in the world. It measured 8.8 centimeters or 3.5
inches. He currently resides in the City of Artvin in Turkey. However,

Big Bud - The World's Largest Farm Tractor
n 1977 the Big Bud 747 tractor was built in Havre, Montana. The
tractor was built by Ron Harmon and the crew of the Northern
Manufacturing Company. The tractor was built to produce 760 horsepower
using a 16-cylinder Detroit Diesel engine. The tractor measures 27 feet
long, 20 feet wide, and 14 feet tall. The tires were specially made by
United Tire Company of Canada and are 8 feet in diameter. When the 1,000
gallon fuel tank is full the tractor tips the scales at over 100,000
pounds.
It was originally designed for the Rossi Brothers, cotton farmers in Bakersfield, California. The Rossi Brothers used the tractor for deep ripping. They owned and operated the 16-V747 for 11 years.
After leaving the cotton farm of the Rossi Brothers the Big Bud found its way to Indlantic, Florida. The second owners, Willowbrook Farms, also used the tractor for deep ripping purposes. Willowbrook Farms retired the Big Bud and left it to rest.
In 1997 the Big Bud found its way back home to Montana, only 60 miles from where it was built. The Williams Brothers of Big Sandy, Montana purchased the tractor and brought it to their farm in Chouteau County. The Williams Brothers use the tractor for cultivation purposes, pulling an 80 foot cultivator. The tractor can work more than one acre per minute, at speeds up to 8 mph. Except its new paint job, chrome stacks, and a whopping 900 plus horsepower - the Big Bud looks like it did when it rolled out of the Northern Manufacturing Company building back in 1977.

African-American woman ever to win an Academy Award. She accepted her
award weeping, shaking and utterly overwhelmed with emotion—but gave one
of the most memorable speeches in the award show’s history, dedicating
the award to “every nameless, faceless woman of color that now has a

Top 10 Biggest Tools on Twitter
Do you call yourself a social media expert? Use the word "tweeple"? Retweet everything Ashton says? If so, you might be one of the biggest tools on Twitter.
Twitter's full of colorful characters. From musing musicians to orbiting astronauts, the 140-character universe seems to have a place for everyone. And that includes total tools.
Twitter's biggest tools do plenty of irksome things. They stalk celebrities; they share information you wish you could unlearn. Some spend time on Twitter purely to talk about how you should spend time on Twitter (social media expert, anyone?). Whatever their tactic, though, they all share one common characteristic: They are unequivocally and unapologetically annoying.
Here's your guide to the 10 biggest tools on Twitter. If you see someone you recognize, by all means let them know. Just don't send out the link 20 times. That'd be a real tool-like thing to do.

The 15 Greatest Athletes Of All Time
What makes an athlete great? Is it their natural born ability? Their
grit determination? Their heart and drive to be the greatest? Their
love of the game? How about all of the above plus one extra “it”
factor—that indefinable attribute that elevates talented athletes to
once-in-a-lifetime legend status. And though we can’t definite exactly
what that special trait is, we know one thing for sure—every one of the
athletes we included in our list of the greatest athletes of all time
has it.
1. Lance Armstrong (Cycling)
With
a heart almost thirty percent larger than the average man, an aerobic
capacity almost twice as high as the average person and unusually low
lactate levels, it’s no surprise many people question, “Is Lance
Armstrong mortal?” And though his superhuman physical abilities are
undoubtedly impressive, what’s more remarkable is this Texan’s dogged
determination. After being diagnosed with testicular cancer and a germ
cell tumor that spread to his brain and lungs, Armstrong’s doctors gave
him a 50 percent chance to live. And while most people would wallow in
their sorrows, Armstrong fought back—and hard. A mere three years after
his diagnosis he won a record-breaking seven straight Tour de France
titles and earned, among many awards, Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year, the Associated Press’ Male Athlete of the Year, ESPN’s Espy Award for Best Male Athlete and BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

American Ed Burns with 1501 piercings – New World Record
Body piercing, a form of body modification, is the
practice of puncturing or cutting a part of the human body, creating an
opening in which jewellery may be worn.
The word piercing can
refer to the act or practice of body piercing, or to an opening in the
body created by this act or practice. While the history of body piercing
is obscured by a lack of scholarly reference and popular
misinformation, ample evidence exists to document that it has been
practiced in various forms by both sexes since ancient times throughout
the world.
