Unbelievable Truth- A Saint Survive 70 Years Without Food and Water

Seven decades have passed without any food or water claims a man 83 years of age. Indian doctors have recently started experiments on him in hopes of improving survivor skills training for men in the military. Doctors for military men hope that their experiments on Prahlad Jani will help soldiers better their survivor strategies.

In a hospital in the western city of Ahmedabad, the long hair and bearded Gujarati man is under twenty-four hour surveillance among testing by thirty doctors. This testing will go on for three weeks straight. In addition to two cameras set up in his hospital room, he has a mobile camera attached to him for when he leaves his hospital room. This will guarantee complete validity to his claims of abstinence from any food or water for seventy years.

Hoover Dam Mega Bridge

Construction of the Colorado River Bridge is advancing on the 1,060 foot twin-rib concrete arch. The Colorado River Bridge is the central portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project. Construction on the nearly 2,000 foot long bridge began in late January 2005 and the completion of the entire Hoover Dam Bypass Project is expected in Late 2010. When completed, this signature bridge will span the Black Canyon (about 1,500 feet south of the Hoover Dam), connecting the Arizona and Nevada Approach highways nearly 900-feet above the Colorado River. Australian Women Race in High Heels set World Record

In just over one minute and four seconds, four glamorous girls from Canberra have set a new world record for the fastest relay race in stiletto heels.

But let's face it. They were a shoe-in from the start of the race - with all of them being Australian Institute of Sport students. Organisers say the event attracted more than 100 competitors.

The leggy quartet - Brittney McGlone, Laura Juliff, Casey Hodges and Jessica Penny - smashed the competition at the Venus Embrace Closest Stiletto Race in blazing spring sunshine at Sydney's Circular Quay on Tuesday in the shadow of the Opera House.

McGlone romped home first in this event in 2008.

The Pinkettes, as they are collectively known, now plan to head to Phuket, Thailand, and use their $10,000 prize for a well-earned holiday.

Lately I have had an overwhelming lust for life, and for the people I share this planet with. Therefore, I have taken the time to put together several hubs, depicting ordinary people in ordinary ways. I think there is much to be said about everyday people. It is the people that continue to go unnoticed that keep this world alive and energizes. Therefore help me celebrate the lives of ordinary people, by reflecting upon their images. Amongst the turmoil of the Middle East, we forget the reality of what people are really like over there.

I think that is why so many Americans, find it hard to imagine themselves, in such a far off place. However, after peering on some of these lovely street faces of Jerusalem, I realize they are just like you and me. That is when I decided to share my realization with you. What is the meaning of the spoked wheel in the flag of India?

"Ashoka Chakra" on the base of "Lion Capital of Ashoka" which has been adopted as the National Emblem of India. The Lion capital of Ashoka is a sculpture of four "Indian lions" standing back to back. It was originally placed atop the Ashoka pillar at Sarnath.(Ashoka was an Indian emperor, of the Maurya Dynasty who ruled from from 273 BC to 232 BC). This Lion Capital of Ashoka from Sarnath has been adopted as the National Emblem of India and the wheel "Ashoka Chakra" from its base has been placed onto the center of the National Flag of India.

The wheel - "Ashoka Chakra" has 24 spokes and each spoke depicts one hour of the day, portraying the prevalence of righteousness all the 24 hour of it.

The significance of the colours and the chakra in the National Flag was amply described by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan(who later became the first Vice President of India) in the Constituent Assembly which unanimously adopted the National Flag. Dr. S.Radhakrishnan, described:

Bizarre facts-Girl who eats 60 meals a day

The Story of 21-year-old Lizzie Velasquez

It's an incredible story about a girl who has to eat 60 meals a day. Lizzie Velasquez is 21 and she lives in Texas. Doctors are still puzzled with her conditions. Her height is 5ft 2in (1.58m), but she weighs only 56 pounds (25 kg).

She must eat 60 small meals a day, every 15-20 minutes (5000-8000 calories) and she still has almost 0% body fat. Lizzie says that she gets very excited if she gains even one pound. She has a brother Chris and a sister Marina, and both of them are normal. Lizzie was born four weeks prematurely - weighing just 2lb 10oz (1.2 kg). Her parents say that they had to buy dolls' clothes for Lizzie because baby clothes were too big.

Sometimes hypodermic needles or bondage/slave rings are used instead with the same effect. To avoid this, the jewelry should be removed promptly after the fun has been had (corset piercings are common in fetish performances) and the pictures have been taken (they are also popular subjects for photo shoots.)
